The Lithuanian National Museum of Art joins the global art community on the Bloomberg Connects platform

The Lithuanian National Museum of Art (LNMA) has become part of the global Bloomberg Connects platform providing access to a convenient and interactive discovery of art and culture. By joining this free global platform, the LNMA opens its divisions to the international audiences, thus taking yet another step to enhance its international footing and visibility in the global cultural context. The LNMA is the second and the biggest Lithuanian cultural institution to present itself and the network of its museums in this international digital space.  

 

We invite you to discover the LNMA via the Bloomberg Connects app – to listen to the stories of the works of art, or to plan, in comfort, a visit to one of the LNMA museums.  

 

The Bloomberg Connects app brings across the carefully selected content from over 1100 museums, galleries, sculpture parks, gardens, and other cultural spaces. From behind-the-scenes stories to artist and expert developed visual and audio content, the Bloomberg Connects provides an easy access to the discovery of art and culture any time and place.   

 

From now onwards, on the Bloomberg Connects app are also the divisions of the Lithuanian National Museum of Art: Vilnius Picture Gallery, National Gallery of Art, Radvila Palace Museum of Art, Palanga Amber Museum, Vytautas Kasiulis Museum of Art, Museum of Applied Arts and Design, Clock and Watch Museum, Pranas Domšaitis Gallery, Pamario Gallery, Pranas Gudynas Conservation Centre, and the Lithuanian Integral Museum Information System – LIMIS. Included is also a summary of art education activities by the LNMA.  

 

On the platform, the LNMA and its activities are presented by Director General Dr Arūnas Gelūnas, while separate parts of the content introduce the highlights of the LNMA collection on display at the Vilnius Picture Gallery, National Gallery of Art, Radvila Palace Museum of Art, and Palanga Amber Museum.
