50% discount applies to:
- for pupils of the Republic of Lithuania, of other member states of the European Union and of other states, and of the European Economic Area states, learning according to the general education curriculum (excepting adult individuals taking primary, lower and upper secondary education programmes for adults), delivered by instruction process structured on a daily basis in a group-learning form as well as by an independently organized individual learning process, for pupils of general education taking specialized education programmes;
- for students of higher education studying full-time or in a daytime study form, citizens of the Republic of Lithuania, of other member states of the European Union and of other states, and of the European Economic Area states studying at the higher education schools of the member states of the European Union or of the European Economic Area states full-time or in a daytime study form, also, for pupils taking formal vocational education delivered by instruction process structured on a daily basis in a group-learning form as well as by an independently organized individual learning process;
- for conscripts of regular compulsory military service, volunteer servicemen; members of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union;
- people eligible for state aged pensions (up to 80 years old);
- people who suffered during the foreign occupations of 1939–1990 – political prisoners and deportees, former inmates of ghettos, concentration and other forced-labour camps;
- defenders of the independence of the Republic of Lithuania who suffered during the USSR-enacted aggression on January 11–13, 1991 and afterwards;
- participants of the resistance to the occupations of 1940–1990 – volunteer soldiers and freedom fighters.
Free admission to permanent displays and exhibitions is granted to:
- children of pre-school age;
- children from orphanages;
- all visitors the last Sunday of each month;
- individuals with disability and accompanying personal assistants or other accompanying individuals (one accompanying person per one disabled individual);
- people aged 80 and over;
- employees of Lithuania’s museums;
- members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM);
- members of the Lithuanian Union of Journalists;
- Lithuanian and foreign journalists;
- students from all types of art schools;
- students of art and design colleges, students from the Vilnius Academy of the Arts;
- pupils of schools (gymnasiums, pro-gymnasiums, general education schools) delivering curriculum inclusive of subjects of introduction into the arts, art history and art theory;
- members of the Lithuanian Artists’ Union;
- members of the Lithuanian Art Gallerists’ Association;
- members of the International Association of Art Critics;
- guides, upon presentation of their Guide Certificate issued by the State Department of Tourism Department;
- people holding the status of an art creator;
- members of the Lithuanian Association of Art Historians;
- teachers accompanying groups of pupils no smaller than ten individuals, or those independently visiting exhibitions with the goal of preparation for integrated lessons or lessons at the museum;
- teachers accompanying children to educational activities;
- members of the Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union taking part in organizing exhibitions of artwork and their family members (parents, spouses, minor children);
- members of tourism service providers accompanying groups of no less than 10 citizens of the Republic of Lithuania, or groups of no less than 5 foreigners;
- Ukrainian citizens upon presentation of a document proving their citizenship;
- groups and individual soldiers from the Lithuanian military, NATO allies and Ukrainian forces involved in organising exhibitions on patriotic themes, with valid military identification;
- staff of the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service;
- students of the Border Guard School under the Lithuanian State Border Guard Service;
- members of the Lithuanian Border Guard Club;
- students, teachers, creative practitioners and cultural workers participating in Kūrybinės Jungtys Association projects, for educational purposes related to these projects;
- groups of members of Senjorų Avilys and residents of the VšĮ Sveikatos Metai care unit, together with accompanying staff;
- holders of the Family Card;
- students and lecturers of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies and Faculty of Design at Vilnius College;
- staff and volunteers of VšĮ Savanoriai Vaikams;
- staff of Vaikų Linija according to the list provided by Vaikų Linija, and volunteers with a valid Vaikų Linija volunteer course completion certificate.
